Borehole Drilling
Each year we install new water supplies for a wide variety of clients, commercial, agricultural and domestic. Blair Drilling has an extensive plant inventory with drilling capability to over 1000 ft depth. We have both both lorry and track mounted rigs for fast development by road to anywhere in the UK. All rigs are inspected and certified to ensure they remain HSE compliant.

Hydro-Geology, Surveys and Investigations
Before we drill any borehole we investigate the hydro geology; this may take the form of a local area study using our own GeGIS system (geological and geographical information system) or a detailed prognosis from our consultant hydro-geologist. This approach ensures that we know as much as possible about the geology and ground conditions before drilling starts and enables us to engineer the borehole accordingly.

Laboratory Services
Our well equipped in house laboratory is dedicated to water testing. Equipped with Atomic Absorption and Scanning UV/VIS Spectrometers and a comprehensive micro-biological testing facility we can offer a highly efficient and responsive service. We routinely sample our boreholes from the drilling stage to gauge water quality through to programmed testing to ensure efficient operation of filtration plant.

Water Filtration & Treatment
We have been designing and manufacturing water treatment and filtration systems since 1988 and bring a wealth of experience to our clients; whether a single house, farm, hotel, or shopping centre, we have the expertise and the track record. Our SS range of Ultra Violet sterilisers have been a benchmark for private water supplies for over 15 years. They are sold extensively thoughout the water industry with hundreds of units installed throughout the UK each year.
